Dry Eye Workshop

The Dry Eye Workshop brings together leading clinical experts to deliver evidence-based updates on diagnostics, targeted treatments, and advanced clinical skills. The program opens with Varny Ganesalingam, head of the ACO’s Dry Eye Disease Clinic, exploring DEWS III-aligned diagnostic reasoning to navigate complex cases, using interactive case studies to unpack why first-line treatments may fall short. Leigh Plowman then shares insights into achieving successful patient outcomes with in-office treatments, helping clinicians select the right patients, deliver procedures effectively, and manage complex cases with confidence, even when interventions like IPL do not achieve the expected results.

Following the lectures, participants will take part in a two-hour hands-on practical session. Rotating through small-group stations covering areas such as ZEST, LLLT, IPL, meibomian gland expression, and K5 assessment, attendees will have the opportunity to refine their technique, ask questions, and apply these advanced dry eye procedures directly to real-world clinical scenarios.
